Thanksgiving coming soon...

I have been very busy to say the least. I will be here for a little while longer, then need to quit blog it for awhile. We had our first snow yesterday. It didn't even cover everything and melted. Signs of winter. After talking with different clients and rearragnging our schedule our whole family will be able to take 2 days off for Thanksgiving. We're going to visit 4 sons, near Salem. 3 live fairly close together. 1 has moved to Bandon by the Sea. It will be nice to see everyone. We will miss 1... Sign in to see full entry.

Planning for Thanksgiving week...

I guess it's been awhile....:) I've been busy working mostly. Not much else happening. We are probably going to be able to ALL go visit our sons in the valley for Thanksgiving. We are trying to work out our work schedule so we can go together. I am probably going to have to quit blogit for awhile soon. Trivia...

I had a really bad headache since this morning. I think it was a cross between the nitrates I had last night in some meat and strong de-caf last night. I seem to be sensitive to regular de-caf. I thought it was a coincidence, but it's happened 3 x now. I spoke a bit too soon about the natural flea shampoo and how our dog is free of fleas. I think it does work, along with baths, but this am I found 2 or 3 on her and killed them. I gave her a bath and didn't find any. This afternoon I found 1 and... Sign in to see full entry.

Windy... Chicken roof blew off!

I've had a tiny bit of time to write, but no time to read you all lately. I have considered quitting blog-it many times, because of the cost and the small amount of time and effort I can put in to it. But, I am still enjoying it and can still afford it, so guess I'll stay around a little longer. It was really windy today! The metal roofing we have on our chicken-run blew off. Natural flea shampoo worked... :)

The natural flea shampoo and washing Gingers' bedding did the trick. She seems to be free of the fleas. She had bath #2 today and Clemy found no signs of fleas on her. It is getting cold and windy here! Winter is coming. My husband is trying to get all our vehicles running before it gets too cold to work on them. Hopefully he can do it. Well, I have to go. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
