Countdown to ...
Countdown to... Tomorrow is... Day 1.... National Novel Writing Month.......Do I sound nervous....? I hope I will still have a little time each day to write on this blog. Yesterday I started it, and then got busy and so didn't post anything. Yesterday was my housecleaning jobs. Today Greg and the boys cleaned the insurance office, then later we all cleaned the bank together. This and That
I forgot to say that yesterday I got stopped by a police a block away at 7:00 a.m. So much for getting to work early. He asked, "Do you know why I stopped you?" "No", I replied. It was because I did a California stop at the stop sign. My husband got a warning a month ago at the same stop sign. I will have to be more careful. Today I didn't have to work and slept till 8:00. I had a happy algebra day!
I had a happy algebra day. That's what I wrote on my algebra paper. It's like I'm back in school, doing algebra with my 2 teens. Lesson 18 - missed 2; Lesson 19 - missed 6! I'm glad it came with a CD that goes over each lesson and HOW to get the answers. I really am learning right along with the boys. Son #6 claims he already knows "it all", but if so, why does he miss even one? It sure works your brain, especially for a math illiterate person that I once was. I have a friend, my age, who never...

Locked Out
This morning I got up and thought I'd try to get to work early so I wouldn't be rushing so much. I got there at 6:45 a.m. and guess what? My key would not work! I kept trying it and at that moment really wished I was a locksmith. Finally the lady that cleans the other half of the building showed up. Her key didn't work either, so I figured they changed the locks. The problem was that the office workers would be there at 8:00 and then I would only have 1 hour to clean all the rooms. Getting extras done
Today is the day I've chosen to be a day off. I don't have to clean offices and can do extra things that need done. Today was quite warm (62 degrees F). In the morning Greg and the girls swept the leaves up. Then, he and the boys leveled the motor home. They also worked together to make the bed frame wider, as we are getting a new bed tomorrow. After they got that and some other outdoor things done it started raining and was windy -they finished just in time. Greg still didn't feel that great...
