goodnight

Another day has ended. All my muscles are sore. It's finally getting warm here and the crocuses are blooming. My 18 year old son is coming to visit for a week. He'll be here tomorrow night. He's been going to a community college. Nothing to say, so I will say goodbye until I have something to say. Sign in to see full entry.

Another job

I just got a call from the Theater. A few weeks ago, I went to the movie with my son. Afterwards, I left and went to a friends house. When I was leaving their house, I realized that I didn't have my purse with me. I started to panic, because this is one time I had about $100 cash in it. I drove back to the theater, and looked for it. I had remember hanging it in the bathroom stall. It wasn't there. The theater manager was very kind and even looked in the garbage cans for me. Home for a little while

Today I normally do not have to clean the offices. Yesterday I was too tired, so decided Saturday would be better this time. We also bought another VW bus for a good price and he plans on getting it running. We want to keep them, but probably will need to sell them. Let's see, how many VWs have I (we) owned. My first VW bug was a 1961. It was pretty neat. It had no gas gauge, but if you ran out of gas, there was 1 extra gallon if you turned... Sign in to see full entry.

The Centipede

In Sonora, Mexico where we lived, there are scorpions, black widow spiders and centipedes. I haven't seen very many, but the ones I have seen are scary. The locals say that if you get bit by one, they latch onto you and you have to burn them to make them let go. I have never had one bit me, so I don't know. They are also supposed to be poisonous. One day I was going into my bedroom, when I saw an 8 inch centipede. It was about 1 inch across. I called my son, " Gordon, please come quick, there's... Sign in to see full entry.
