I must update y'all
1. I left the desk job and am back at the jails. I have lost almost half the weight I put on as a case manager for indigent services. I lost a week to influenza. I was courted back due to loss of permanent-party nurses, and the fact that after two years the trauma supply distribution system I set up...

Dog Attacks: My response to Spitfire in Freeman's blog..too long for there.
Take the absolute number of attacks (reported attacks), make a bar chart showing what percentage of each breed's (and breed mixes'?) attacks result in death, permanent disability, and, say, suturable wounds. My money is on little terriers being #1 for reported attacks (chihuahuas and little poodles...

The day came for next level training and uniform issue for the virtual fire dept I was looking to hook up with in the hopes of further pursuing disaster prep training for myself, and perhaps being able to help conduct some myself as well. I'll have you know that my avatar's little floating sign ("HUD") now identifies me as a probationary firefighter with the Second Life Fire Dept. I took a short class and multiple choice test, "fought" some "fire", and did as best as I could what I was told. I also managed to keep from totally...
