Not so long ago, we lost (what we thought at the time) was a great roommate. There was no falling out - she didn't hate us and we didn't hate her. She just wanted to move down the hill a little closer to her boyfriend to a slightly cheaper room. Not having any lack of love for a departing roommate makes replacing them extremely bittersweet.
