TUNING TIME Songs nudging, silk torn memory’s stacked, slanting scratched venial plinths way up in my minds eye Sparking joy in recall incidents lost in tunes for dirty faced boys and you, Tom-girls flipside in rhythm me and you Diving deep into water dyed cobwebs shining rays through patterned T-shirts moody meadows, lazy shimmering days of purple haze Sundays, fathers sing Sinatra mothers boots walk all over you, in Nancy ’s kitchen Wildflowers, bloom once more swaying tunes, of summer...
