When you return to this neck of cyberspace
know that I liked your photographs especially.  They remind me of some scenes on this side of the pond, on Campobello Island, NB, Canada where I have often vacationed.

I came back to read this again.   I hope that you are out there doing something really interesting that will bring you back to write about it.

Thanks TAPS, yes, I suppose, many of us have similar memory's of times jogged by tunes poplar of time and place, Tony Orlando two hits, that I know of with Dawn, done exceptionally well, world wide, I'm presuming and were played so long in the charts over here I reckon most of that time and place have a memory of one kind or another that springs too mind when ether tune is played. Thanks for your kind comments again Taps

It interesting how we can be separated so far in both time and place and yet share memories so similar.

Thanks Tony, the radio was playing knock three times on the ceiling if you want me, twice on the pipe, I believe it was Tony Orlando and Dwan, back in 1971, and memory's of a school trip to Switzerland and Italy, triggered the idea for my poem, I was just thinking, Tie a Yellow Ribbon, also was a big hit for them, both tunes about wether somebody wants their company, seems to of done the trick for them!  Thanks againg for your time and review Tony

Hi there Mike. Some great memories there got across well.
I think I got most of the musical references. I really liked the line about youth's last sunset, by the way. Nice one!
