SORRY YOU CAN'T BRING YOUR GUN TO CHURCH WITH YOU IN ARKANSAS

Could someone please explain to me first off why a person would need a gun in church, since as the article said this was an issue of churches being sanctuaries and so are not really places for there to be guns.
