Another tale of public school teaching!
First Grade October, 1967 in Whitewright, TX. I was working as a Title 4 teacher for Grayson County schools and it was my first year to teach following college. I had worked 6 months as a ward clerk in a local hospital up until I was hired to teach in Whitewright under Title 4 as a government teacher. I was supposed to work as an art teacher.
