Behind the wheel

As my truck slides around the last corner I brace the wheel, check to make sure I am lined up and give it full throttle. Telltale twin rooster tails spit out from both rear tires and the truck lurches forward. I am perfectly lined up and as I accelerate up the face of the jump, some dummy slams into...
