You Never Know Who Is Listening

Lead your life so you won't be ashamed to sell the family parrot to the town gossip. This reminds me of a story I've carried with me since the early sixties, when all women had to squeeze themselves into girdles. Even thin women wore them. They were tight and difficult to shimmy into. I guess there was no such thing as being too thin. Just check out the waistlines on Donna Reed, June Cleaver and other TV housewives of that era.
