Facing down death -- again

When I discovered that my husband was already in bed, it was early by my standards, just a little past ten o'clock. He had taken some Nyquil and he hadn't worn his Testosterone patch that day either, which would explain why he was so quiet about going to bed; no 'performance' that night and he wouldn’t want any wifely pressure.
