LATE AFTERNOON, EARLY SEPTEMBER

LATE AFTERNOON, EARLY SEPTEMBER Low sun, richly yellow, cuts deep past woodland’s edge, touching trees within the shadow places where the yearling deer browses with bountiful harvest of light I feast with the yearling on radiant leaves and sky.
