One Wheelchair User Thinking...
I read this amazing article by Gary Presley. I was forwarded from ADAPT which I would have missed was I not a member of their organizer’s list. Like me, Gary lives a happy, productive wheelchair users’ life. Like me, he finds his electric wheelchair liberating, nor we are not “confined to” it, a demeaning term that some able-bodied people use to describe our life altering mobility equipment.
