He knew

H olding his, her heart walks towards oblivion under the warm rain of what promises to be a slow winter. She is like a crazy math professor that has subtracted and subtracted, never adding and she is surprised because she's ended up with nothing She listened to old songs and wrote about old sunsets delighting in the closeness that she felt with what she remembered used to be.
