Long Drive Home
I am 30 miles out of Key West. After playing 3 times at Open Mic last night, about 10 songs, I made a few stops, said some goodbyes and arrived here in Big Pine Key at my Uncle's house a little after midnight. It was actually what I hoped for, a heartfelt goodbye from people that will genuinely miss me after I go. So, I haven't been writing. It bothers me, I miss it.
