Happy Birthday Richard
April 16th, 2009 5:53 PM Called up my chess buddy to come over and play. Said he would try to make it, feeling a bit iffy health-wise. A conversation developed about speaking with his only living relative. Apparently it's his brother's 60th birthday, the brother that taught Patrick how to play chess in 1959. So, I called Richard and left him a happy birthday message on his answering machine. Now Patrick says I should come over to his house to play. Lives in a small apartment with his cat and...
