Little Bear
April 10th, 2009 11:28 PM I've been working on carving a little bear out of basswood for my mother. She half-heartedly believes in animal totems, and strongly feels that she's a bear. A big female Grizzly Bear. She dated a guy for a few years that believed in animal spirits. He was a bow hunter, and he used to put the organs from a fresh kill into a tree. That way his animal spirit, the crow, could get the gift. He also used to weave grass rings in some belief in the Circle Of Life, that somehow... Sign in to see full entry.
