Bloom Addict

Wildflower, she amazes me how her heart stays open such an unlimited capacity to give and receive solar wind blown petals curl back revealing soft brown eyes, gazing fixedly into the fire yearning for every drop of gold For her the wildness of her roots, give her the strength to endure, to sustain she is no hothouse flower Is it that she is self absorbed? Or does her sun salutation provide a healing meditation? No heady need for inquiry, yet her profound presence leads me to believe she is all... Sign in to see full entry.

Fire Horse

How do you stop a running horse with fire under her hooves? Fires of passion, fires of fear, fiery heart, Born in the season of fire She will surely run herself to death So many pictures leaping through the window of her mind Creation stories unfolding in a borealis sky Wispy pre-dawn etheric beings, dancing their earth myths From horizon to horizon. Fire horse gallops along energy lines, criss-crossing realities Now form, now spirit, side-sweeping time and space. Chasing thunder, her hearts... Sign in to see full entry.

Though the Equinox Moon is Bright

I have no hunger nor any thirst Out of sync with the soils now ecstatic with showers of replenishing spring rains She is always ready to renew an undying cycle I fear is not mine to have not in this body American Spirit (tobacco smoke) mingles with stale air and swirls through my nostrils Winter still has a grip on my bones and I feel frozen in time In the land of the rising sun and only seeing sunsets Relieved not to share a common tongue Left alone to find my peace And I am o.k. with it... Burn the To Do Lists

This day is mine Pour into earthen vessels the polluted stream of incessant voices in my head This day is mine Winter's tide is waning the air is alive with sun-sparked energy and deep in the earth I feel an unbounded upsurge gathering With such hopeful stories of life renewal from one of my favourite friends calling long distance "Spring" How can I do anything but seize the day Only you can love yourself like no other Give to yourself what you yearn for This day is yours Happy Valentines Day... Divine Abode

All creation flows from and through me I have birthed countless earthly creatures through time I am a well spring of passionate creative energy The animals, trees and invisible to most, creatures of said myth Are my children. In the warm flowing softness of a deep velvet blue moon sea Our love and making reveals stories of creation. I shift into the visual dimension of my mind's eye A realm of pure spirit and being A sensuous world where I am One with Love...One with You... One with Blue and... Sign in to see full entry.

Moshi's Smile (saves me)

Moshi's Smile (saves me) As long as I can see your smile, I can stay in this cold place As long as I can be with you, I can be in this strange place You see me, you see me, you save me from myself What is it I wonder I am wanting to shift, Something deep inside that I no longer can resist But as long as I can see your smile, I can stay in this cold place As long as I can be with you, I can be in this strange place My sweet child Moshi, you are pure joy and I'm learning, yes I'm learning to catch... Deeper

Deeper Deeper than the steepest canyon Deeper than the Pacific Blue I'm deeper than a Blackhole But I'm sailing straight on through Deeper than the deepest heartache and that's so much deeper than me and you I'm deeper than a Blackhole Babe but I'm sailing straight on through After 20 years of loving and leaving I'm looking for a different path Until I find comfort in myself I know this lonely feeling will not pass Lovers can come and go but there's a space only Self can fill If anyone asks for... Fragile "Phoenix's Hour"

Fragile "Phoenix Hour" Her delicate face and white porcelin skin, trembling the tide of her emotion, for to long been damned/dammed No more little white pills, pills that numb out the pain Fragile cracks in your walls, secrets leakin' Feels like the fabric of your soul, but it's not, no it's not let it go... but it's not, not it's not let it go Into your dark into your fire, Embrace Phoenix's Hour Fear incipient what's it going to be? You've got this life to do the work to be free Your back's... Sign in to see full entry.

The Unexpected Scarlet "Murder in the Garden"

T he Unexpected Scarlet " Murder in the Garden" Autumns scarlet came in an unexpected place this year. The nasturtiums lilting blooms, witnesses to a despicable crime. Cats are so psychic. Tranquil company we kept, her ballet slippered white paws out of place as she tiptoes gingerly through dark earth. Like a scarf she draped over my shoulders as I stood to water and observe the garden's growth. When summer reached it's zenith, she pussyfooted past meandering sweet peas and from the vantage of...
