Patchworks

My recent bout with strep reminded me of my school days. The close quarters meant that when someone got sick, it spread quickly. Teachers would end up teaching patchworks of students. I've been away due to strep. I am feeling better. September 2002. During a geometry review, Mr. Hanks asked me a question that, on the surface, seems like one I should have forgotten: How many geometric planes are there?
