Prayer with Hopps
Prayer was a big deal in Mr. Hopps' class. I looked forward to his prayers. Some teachers for prayer would stick to the La Sallian, "St. John Baptist de la Salle, pray for us., Live Jesus in our hearts, forever." Some would pray on the fly. Some would read a Bible passage.
