My Father's Arms

For many years, I have pondered the question of whether or not there is in fact a God, and whether or not He actually sees and cares about the things that go on in the world. If He does, then why does He allow such terrible things to happen to good people?? I have searched for so long, never even... Sign in to see full entry.

Backpacking: The sights of the Rocky Mountains!

Here we found a hidden dove's nest, And saw a beautiful view from the crest. Moving on, some leftover snow, Then over the river we had to go. Stopped for a break, and what did we see? Hopping away, a little bunny! Around the cactus! Just in case, In time to see the lizard's face. ~Alyssa A. Shock~ Sign in to see full entry.

Flower in Waiting

Wow lol. I was flipping through one of my really old notebooks and I found this. I guess I started writing it when I was still in high school and just never got around to finishing it. We have both done things that we are not proud of and we have hurt each other too. Since we have been married, we have been spending... Sign in to see full entry.

Forever, Aly Bee

I must say that today left me feeling so very blah. I am totally drained. I started working on this poem this morning after my hubby went to work, and I had to walk away from the computer several times because I was crying like a baby. I decided to try working on a tribute to my grandfather. It has... Sign in to see full entry.

Memories

Love, Laughter, And happy ever after... A few of the things I hope for you and me, And that together we will always be. Late night talks, Our first date, That little thing called fate... And to think, your smile almost made me hesitate, The way I blushed with embarassment, and had to look down at my... Sign in to see full entry.
