Time

Haven’t you heard it over and over again Give it time and everything will be the same Time will pass and heal all the pain The hurt will leave you just be brave The days, the weeks, the months and the years Fly by, you cannot stop the flow of time or tears So what do you do when time seems to cease... Happiness...?

I’ve known happiness And I’ve seen what it can do I’ve been happy The time I spent with you I need happiness But I need sorrow too For without these things Life just wouldn’t be true I need time But given half the chance I’d throw away all the clocks Without a backward glance Sign in to see full entry.

About this Blog

This is where I will be writing and posting my poetry - a lot of which was written between the years of 17 - 19 (I am now 50!!) I have only just found the urge to do something with these poems and have started adding slowly to my collection - I hope you like them (I'm still feeling my way here)
