Life with Cats

Elmo like most cats is picky about food. But unlike most cats her favorite food is dry food. She refuses to eat the canned food we bought. So she spent a day without food. Max lives with my daughter. He frequently visits when Brenda comes on the weekend. These week, we treated both the apartment and Max for fleas. It is flea season again. Even though we have a new carpet, we haven't got them bad yet. I gave Elmo a flea treatment. I found out that Fleabusters sells their product over the internet. Elmo, at this present moment is chasing some animal. She climbed up the trellis and then jumped down from about eight feet. Then she climbed back up, ran across the trellis and upon the roof. Max has a bad habit of pouncing using his claws and Brenda didn't want to smack him. So he's giving Elmo a hard time. She loves it. If she's tired of playing, she meows at him and he quits. Elmo doesn't meow at the door. Elmo stretches herself at far up the door as possible and scratches. When she's outside and I'm sitting by the computer, she sits on the patio chair closest to the window and scratches and then meows to get in.
