Sunday Food

Sundays, we all go different directions, so having something to snack on, that is good for you and easy to prepare is good. So I decided to either make or buy a try of raw vegetables. What do you do with a huge cabbage?

Some of you might not like cabbage, if so ignore this post. My husband got a huge cabbage from a gardener friend. We cooked part of it as a vegetable but we have almost all of it left. Prepared meals

Easy Lasagna

Make Lasagna the usual way, except use dry noodles instead of cooked ones. Add one cup of water and cover the pan with foil and cook it. Make sure the top layer has sauce. Cook for one hour at 350. Today I cleaned out the refrigerator.

Our refrigerator is full of condiments. We have two opened bottles of ketchup, plus ketchup in a jar. Three jars of open mayonnaise, and two large bottles almost full of lemon juice. Cleaning out the freezer.

Last week I cleaned out the freezer and cooked everything in it. When I was finished I had two weeks worth of meals and a stewing chicken, a 1 lb package of Italian sausage, and 1 lb package of bacon left over. The only thing I bought was more sour cream.
