I Will Not Be Defined I will not be defined By numbers on a scale Or the size of my jeans How many dishes I wash Or loads of laundry I clean I will not be defined By jealous rumors Or the snide words of others By envy or hatred Or by anyone who smothers I will not be defined By my choice of career... About this Blog

Since I can remember, poetry has been my preferred method of expressing what I feel deep inside. I have decided to begin sharing them here, because keeping them in my computer or stuffed in a folder in a drawer is not helping me to finally release these emotions and heal.
