"Congratulations! You're the winner of the losers!"

Yesterday I heard back from the job I interviewed for a long time ago. She told me, yes and no. On one hand, she gave the job to the daughter of a friend. On the other, she liked me and my experience in publishing well enough that she wants me to come in a few days a week to help her organize the office and do some data entry. I'd be paid for the work I did, but I'd still have to do some temp work on the side. So I'd basically be doing the same thing I did at Jean Naggar's. And my job title is... Anybody here ever shop at anthropologie?

I swear, its the best store in the world--though expensive, I must admit. When I found anthro, I lost all chance at having a bank account with money in it. Well, it's over

... my internship, I mean. I was only there until 3:00, because there really wasn't all that much left to do. It was really, really sad to go, seeing as I really enjoyed working there and that I still have no job lined up for after Labor Day. Right now I've got an extended vaction stretching out ahead of me, and no clue what to do during it. I've been steadily applying for jobs, but nothing has come through. Well, nobody said it would be easy. In te meantime, I can always temp and continue... Sign in to see full entry.
