Stanford Hoops takes two "toughies" without star player Dwight Powell
This bodes well for Stanford basketball. With their most valuable player, Dwight Powell out with an ankle injury, the Cards outlasted a pair of tough teams. Both Fresno State and Colorado State 'can play.' Stanford wore both teams out! The Rams led for awhile, by double digits, but Coach Dawkins kept rotating his incredibly deep bench.
