Why didn't God make man good and perfect?

God the omnipotent. God the ultimate. God the all-powerful. These are all accolades we are ready to place on our maker. However, we constantly ask the question: if he is so powerful, why didn't he make men good and perfect? The controversy arising from this is eternal. The truth lies thus: we were all made that way. We were all born with nary a flaw. Our imperfections are often a result of our own choices. And the decisions we make tend to belittle the perfect being that he is. How did we come...
