The greater animal
The animal The animal snarls And snaps And fights to the last It searches for prey Which goes down fast The animal hides Behind green bushes And waits For prey to come by And meet its fate And the prey succumbs, Knowing that the other has won Its body goes numb. When I look around for the animal There is nothing to see For the last place I'd think I'd look The animal is in me. Sign in to see full entry.
