Yellow Socks

In a hurry to walk with friends, I grab for socks that are yellow, I laugh and think, “Oh no, I can’t wear that everyone will laugh.” And for a moment while my friends wait I dig the drawer for the popular choice, around the ankle and white, confident now, I can walk.
