An Arctic Thought

Standing under the porch overhang just back from the ice crusted edge stalactites of water frozen, waiting brillant blue by winter's weak sunlight while from my lips a frosted breath curls into the chilled dry crisp air bringing to mind a now distant day when on a ship's steel deck I stood swaddled...
