I just finished Tonight I Dreamed of Peace by Dr. Dang Thuy Tram,

a Vietnamese doctor from Hanoi who joined the army to fight off Americans in her homeland....joining up when just graduated. They saw us as a continuation of the French War and just soldiered on..... She was so young and middle class and naive. She reminded me, in her imagery, her dreams and hopes... Sign in to see full entry.

About this Blog

I read about twenty-five audio books every five weeks and thought that other's might like to have some small reviews, so as not to waste my opinions on these books and to possibly guide others into different areas of reading. I read indiscriminately, meaning "I pull books off of the library shelves because I have not read them yet, not because they fit my narrow scope of interest." I read everything on the shelves.
