Today we made penguins, ants on a log and smiling mouths in art class.
Penguins made of black olives. I cut coins of raw carrots and then removed one slice, like from a pizza. I gave the children a toothpick and they stuck it straight up into the carrot, which formed the feet. I gave them a huge black olive which we sliced open on one side and then stuffed full of cream cheese. We slid that down onto the toothpick and it formed his black and white tummy. They we slid a smaller black olive down the toothpick, stuck the small slice of carrot removed from the feet... Sign in to see full entry.
