Today's Puppy Sorrow

I was driving in the 104 degree Fahrenheit heat in this desert, going up to Mom's house with my car windows open, the air conditioner doesn't work. Hot, it was. I had to take my favorite boots out of her mouth 18 times today.

I put them in drawers, under things, inside closets, up on desks, and she found them or another pair (I have many pairs) and began to munch on them right AT MY FEET. She, the puppy, is so into punishment and confused about it, that she brings her absolute no-nos and flops down next to me with them.... Sign in to see full entry.
