I was in Greenwich Park, searching beneath the Spanish Chestnut trees, many of which were planted in the seventeenth century. Every year people go to Greenwich to gather sweet chestnuts, which are to be found in abundance when they fall from these ancient trees. Today it was raining, so there were...
