So I went to my appointment today at 10am. I was early to the hospital but took me forever to find the actual therapy area so I was a little late. Some captain was in charge of my file or whatever. She asked a bunch of questions... some seeming important, some seeming totally off the wall. She made me bend my arm in all sorts of ways and pushed and poked all around my elbow. Just went into work. Got to leave early because I have an appointment with physical therapy. So... by 11:30 I'll be on the bike with my buddy. Friday I did nothing. Saturday I rode. Today my buddy and I rode from about 11:30 to 4:30. We went down to my brother's place so I could meet my 5 yr old nephew... for the first time. Cute kid. We did some stunting on the paved road off their driveway and the poor kid fell in love with motorcycles. I took him for a ride and I could see his face in my mirror. I slept fine last night. Woke up and went to work at 9, then came back and hung out in the room with a buddy of mine watching bike stunt videos and what not. Then I took him back to his car around 11. Back to work at 1 which sucked 'cause we just stood around with our hands in our pockets telling eachother how chilly it was outside. I got the bike fixed... went ridin' for a bit too. That was pretty fun and had me all pumped. But then the ex gf/gf/whatever and I started going at it again because my friend and his wife invited me over for dinner. I'm not gonna say no to free food!?! Geez. Well that went over like a fart in church. Any way, I came home and I was siccccck. Went to the hospital and they pumped me full of IV fluid, gave me some meds, and sent me on home. Yay. I've come to realize that sometimes no matter how hard you try, no matter how much your sacrifice, and no matter how much you lay your heart out there... sometimes everything just isn't enough.
