Basic Training... 14 weeks of suck.
My recruiter lied... A LOT. Not only did he bullshit his way through my paperwork, but he also said that each company had maybe 2 or 3 18Xs (Special Forces Candidate). I inprocessed B Co. 1/50th with over 100 18Xs. We weren't as rare as we thought. I stayed in the gray as much as possible. Tried not to be noticed... did what I was told... but like always people were slowly drawn to me. Not always for good reasons but I tend to stand out.
