Writing vs. Activism...

I love to write and do activism; I don't know which I love more and I'm glad I don't need to choose between them. My writing is often unfinished; I need to work on that. I haven't finished many stories or even started the Dollars & Sense series; I hope they still want it. My activist activities are... Sign in to see full entry.

New Nashville Plans...

I talked to a new live in PCA potential today, who seems really nice. Thais's (another PCA's) father, who had a heart attack, seems better. I meant Robin today for breakfast and got $10 from grandma for Valentine's Day. Tomorrow I interview another PCA at 9AM and spend most of the day in Springfield... Sign in to see full entry.

A Break

Curling is really boring, so I'm watching The Golden Girls as a break and hoping to find something to write in my Olympic blog when I return to watching later. I'm also going to read Dina's book for awhile. I'm getting ready to meet Robin for breakfast tomorrow; I'm looking forward to talking dance... Sign in to see full entry.

My Snow Day was not Boring!

I watched two games of hockey and skiing in Torino; I saw downhill and freestyle and something called pursuit which I don't understand. Simonne, my night PCA, got home to Boston all right. It took her 5 hours because of the weather; it snowed 2 feet here. Thais, my day PCA's father, had a heart... Sign in to see full entry.

On the Olympics...

I’m watching the Olympics like a maniac and waiting for the blizzard; they’ve already cancelled the van service tomorrow. Luge (single man or woman on a sled, going 80 miles an hour) is one fast sport. I’m also enjoying freestyle skiing; world champion Hannah Kearney (USA) failed to qualify to the... More Bus Issues!

I had more bus problems today. One bus actually died with me on it. Tisha Brown autographed a poster for me, which was pretty cool and I meant a couple cool dancers who might want to work on the project with me. Ran into my old Purchase fellow alum Sam and from here friend Marah (which was very... Sign in to see full entry.

Buses, Buses, and Buses...

I rode the buses all over today. Went to Hampshire College to hang "dancers wanted" signs and to an economics meeting on healthcare in Amherst. I might have even gotten a speaking gig; my first since my stroke. I'm ready (I think). Tomorrow is a day full of dancing and yet more bus rides. I'm trying... Sign in to see full entry.

On TV Tonight!

I just watched Project Runway on the Bravo Network; I'm disappointed. My favorite designer Kara was put in an awful outfil by my least favorite designer Santino (the designers made each other over). Shereally hated his outfit, but didn't say anything. As a result, a better designer in my opinion,... Sign in to see full entry.

Tomorrow I Resolve to Do Stuff!

I was sick again, missed hockey. I slept until noon and went back to bed at 4 until 6. I watched a really good Disney movie, Eddie's Million Dollar Cookoff, which is a cool movie about bending gender roles even though it's sort of silly and campy. Disney makes some really great movies! I'd love to... Sign in to see full entry.

Sick Day!

I feel so sick; I have a sore throat and chills. I hope I can go to hockey tomorrow so I'm going to sleep as soon as I finish this entry. The lifter guy came today and it was successful. They seem really helpful to me; the guy even fixed my wheelchair for free. I think I have new machamics now. My... Sign in to see full entry.
