Date of Birth: May 20, 1945
I grew up in a small town called Sherman. I graduated high school in 1962. Then I graduated with a BS from East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas. I began teaching when I was 21 years of age and continued to do so until I was 46. I finished a first Master of Education in 1971, a 2nd Master of Science in 1984, and received my Doctor of Education degree upon completion and publication of my dissertation in May, 1989. Pursuant to that I signed onto University of Texas graduate school and acquired a few more courses in anatomy and physiology of the brain and perceptual psychology. I then knew that I had studied every aspect of the human brain and its functioning to that date, 1991. Then I entered a practice with C. Alan Hopewell, PhD, neuropsychologisst and completed over 3000 hours of supervised practice in the field of closed head traumas and learning disorders.
Next, I opend a nonprofit foundation for children and adults with learning disorders and closed head trauma rehab in 1994. I ran it until I had to retire due to my health and congestive heart failure. I have undergone multiple surgeries to replace multiple joints that degenerated due to arthritis and aplastic necrosis secondary to therapy with prednisone for asthma. I am currently the author of three blogs at Blogit.com with Shaycom. I also do art and design jewelry from time to time. I have placed in local art shows over the past 8 years now. I do naturalistic paintings as well as art pencil productions.
I am an avid student of the old Testament and am currently studying things in Hebrew in Biblical Hebrew. I am fascinated how much mankind has inve nted and yet has not really progressed very far in control of his emotions and desire of acquisition of power over others for some reason or other. I prefer peaceful existence with the world in a world without fighting and bigotry.
