My name is Luke Zimmermann. I was born in The Netherlands, where I lived until I was 25. I met an Australian woman, got married and migrated to Australia. I have a Master’s degree in Linguistics from the University of Amsterdam and have been a ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher since 1984, in Osaka, Japan and Australia and currently in the United Arab Emirates.
My writing is a combination of language learning experience (from travelling, the classroom and my own), some academic knowledge and humour.
