I live in a place that most have never heard of, a small township in Cayuga County NY.   I dwell in an 1860 farmhouse that i am sure I will be renovating well into my old age, situated on 30 acres of pasture and forest.

I have a small hobby farm i guess you would say, a percheron mare, named Scarlett, who has been with us 6 of her 8 years of life. A goat named Claude, who is still a mischievous kid at only 3 months old, a bearded dragon that is 8, a cat that is 2, who I don't really know his name, we always just called him cat.....I am a dog lover, but lost my last dog in March due to cancer...I did the humane thing and chose death for her, before it pained her terribly. Lost a golden retriever that i loved dearly to the road a year before, and the year before that i put the best rottie ever to sleep due to severe hip dysplasia, so...I am taking a break on the heartache that accompanies loving a dog.

I have two children, both girls, different as night and day...15 year old is like a pleasant spring flower, pretty, quiet, does her own thing....and a 4 year old that is like a buffalo stampede, full of energy that never dwindles, demanding, bossy, and definitely the best form of birth control known to man.....would not trade her for anything, but man...she sure makes me feel old.

Not married, but have lived with someone for 10 years, that on most days I love him as much as i did that first year, on others I question that feeling.  We have made it thru alot of ups and downs, and we are still trying to figure it all out.

But its my life, and I love it all....
