My name is Angel. It hasn't always been, but I got named Angel many years ago when I was performing at Karaoke competitions and competing in Rock and Roll. This name got used so often that it just became part of who I was, so I changed my name legally.
I have always had an urge to write - even as a little child I would sit in my room and write songs and dream my life away with words. I have been through many life experiences but I believe that everything is for the purpose of another, and so builds character and strength in one's life.
I am now nearly 44, and have six children aged 25, 23, 21, 19, 15 and 13, not forgetting my four beautiful grandchildren aged 5, 3 ,3 and 1. I have been through four marriages and four divorces, and over the years lost all hope in love. I was controlled, beaten, abused, and belittled most of my life, but with the power of God in my life now, I have overcome all my so-called failings and now live my life for the purpose of helping other women to overcome their insecurities and self doubts. So many women I believe, do not know their own true worth, and so I write from my own experience to maybe touch the life of another.
I now understand that my own life's quality comes from within, and we all have the ability to let go and move on, to find our own self worth.
