I began actively writing in 1995 during a time of my life which was extremely devastating, as a result of my mother's death from a terminal illness. Since that time, I have written poems for others as well as myself. Poems written by me are usually true accounts of an action, situation, occasion or dream. Writing poems for others to help them cope with loss or to express situations for which there appears to be no words, comes easy for me. I enjoy being there for others. My occupations have been in the following areas: Security, private investigator, semi-truck driver. I have a husband - Chuck / truck driver (whom I am happily married to) and cats, 5 turtles (in a turtle lagoon) and a cockatiel bird named "Sammy". I have two adult children ("older": is my daughter - Annette / has a 4 yr degree - business/"Personal Archive Services" & devotes her life to her children also, "younger": is my son - Brandy / installs satellites & he is a tree trimmer - cuts limbs away from power lines). My son is extremely good @ working out problems. I have 3 grandchildren whom live near me (Reece, Cami and David). I'm proud of them, as they all are competitive and continually show signs of progression in their lives. My son-in-law / lineman (Steven) is a very accomplished man who really does fit the saying "jack of all trades" (in his case - he really does have an enormous amount of knowledge). My son's girlfriend (Debbie) is an animal lover, like me). I feel blessed to have the family and friends, of which are in my life.
