As a small girl writing fiction always appealed to me. I wanted to become a pulitzer prize winning author, and go on to write one block buster novel after another. Well it didn 't quite work out that way. I became published after alot of hard work. Two years of pink slips, and returned stories in the mailbox became depressing to say the least. However, I never gave up my dream. Now I'm almost finished with that first novel. "Demon Passing" has become that ultimate passion for me. Living in a small town helped me get started--moving to the big city was the best thing I could ever do for my career. I know other writers now, and have even met a few big names. What would I tell someone just starting in the field of writing? Never give up! If it's a passion that burns deep inside your soul....keep writing. Improve your skills..read other works, write everyday, and before you know it you too will be published.
