Hello World,

A few years ago, I retired as a high school English teacher, frustrated at the lack of interest in either learning or the world in general.  Video games, athletics, and dating seemed to be the primary focuses with which I was forced to compete.  Enough was enough, so I have decided to do what I love, WRITE.  I would love to be a published author and have several novels and lots of short stories to offer for publication.  However, all of you know that cracking that nut is close to impossible unless you are rich, famous, infamous, or damned lucky.  I will share my writing with anyone who cares to read it.  Maybe someone out there will think that it's worthy of publication in the mainstream.  If not, it's their loss.

I am the father or three incredible children and the grandfather of two cuddly cuties.  Although divorced, I still consider my ex to be my best friend; maybe it's because I have few others.  I am now homeless, vehicle-less, and living with my mother and sister.  Soon, I will be  working part of the time somewhere to support my writing habit, but my heart will be elsewhere.

My intention is to share some of my stories and a bit of my political advice for the (lack of) leadership of this country, though I know none of them are interested.  Many terrible and exciting things are coming to this world in the next few years.  I hope that all of you out there are preparing for the worst and hoping for the best, just as I am.
