I'm a woman who discovered poetry a few years ago. I find it very cathartic, as I suffer from PTSD due to abuse as a child and a severe domestic abuse assault which nearly killed me a few years ago.
My poetry has evolved from the dark (when I first started writing) to mostly fantasy now. It's rare that my poetry doesn't include some sort of reference to the moon. At times I revert to my dark roots. I like challenging myself with new styles and forms and appreciate honest critiques.
I'm happy to be a new member here and hope to meet some new friends.
