For those who are afraid or don’t know how to express themselves, I decide, through my writings, I stepped into their shoes and write about how they may feel
My poems were written based on real life experiences, people I encountered, and the places I traveled to. I want to think my poems provoke thought and questions about the impact of everyday living as well as the trials and tribulations that people experience throughout their lives.
Interspersed among the pages of my poetry books are pictures that enhance the impact of each poem, evoking emotions through the flow of words and arresting images. I truly believe my poetry reaches deep into the inner soul, allowing people to reflect on how they are living and continue to live on despite the ups and downs of life. I think the poems are a wonderful source of inspiration, to encourage people to express themselves more freely.
