Not long ago I started out like any other day and I headed off to work. As I arrived at my place of employment there was a u-haul pulled up to the front door and the boss was out front telling us all to "turn in your stuff, were done". Just like that, I was unemployed. Not to let this turn of events get me down I quickly filed for unemployment benifits then prepaired for a little time off. I was looking forward to the time off because my (now former) job was quite demanding.

My wife and I have allways wanted to get out of the city and live in a small town so we took this opportunity and make the move. After about a month of looking we were able to find A nice little place in a really small town on the coast. The cost of living is easier, the air is cleaner, and there is a lot less traffic.

I have to admit that it is nice to take some time off but unemployment benifits just barely cut it and I still have to activly look for work. Living in a small town is great but there are a few drawbacks like the lack of work. After three months of searching I was however able to find employment at our local pizza pub as a delivery driver.

The Pub is on the corner of the main highway and a local side street at the edge of town. There is easy access to most parts of the town and plenty of parking. Inside there are about two dozen tables, two pool tables, an array of video games and the smoking section is outside on the patio. And the pizza! The pizza is fantastic. This is what I would consider gourmet pizza. It's no wonder why everyone in town is happy The Pub hired me to deliver. I guess they have had a lot of problems with drivers in the past but that is a thing of the past.

I am a Blog virgin. This is my first blog and I hope it works out. My subject may be a little out of bounds but all the same exciting. I hope!
