Born in the country, moved to the city, and
Caught in the corporate grind.
Need to feel the wind and touch the earth-
without them I'll lose my mind.

Life is too short and too precious to waste on working for money to spend on things that make you want more things until one day you're buried in all the things you bought and you don't have a life left because you're too busy paying for all of your STUFF.

What's important? Family. Friends. Laughter. Music. Poetry. Good stories. Good food. Plants pushing up from the earth. Crying. People being born, and people dying. Knowing where we came from. Hoping that where we are is where we are supposed to be, and trying to make it count, wherever we are.
