Love, Lust, passion, greed, life, death, heaven, hell, sorrow, pain, and beauty, to name a few. These words they spin around and around in my minds eye, always wanting to jump out, to jump further and faster than all the other words................... Beginning, ending, forward, backwards, big, small, fast, slow, so much is lost in todays world with the words. The impact is lost, words seem to be a forgotten art of the elders as if they could never be spoken again so plain so simple so wondrous and meaningful!
Where did it go, how was it lost, who is responsible, what can be done? Did the words lose their meaning with loss of the pen and the pencil? "Oh yes", the forgotten art of writing on the blank sheet of paper.
Up, down, around, over, under, above, below, they roll of my tongue seeming with child like exuberance. The lost art of communication. It all moves so fast and so much is forgotten and left behind, taken for granite in the our day to day mind and the fast lives we now live.
Sunrise, sunset, morning, noon, and night, is there still such a thing in our new found twnety four hour lives of instant information and non stop communication?
Once upon a time and Happily ever after, the seeming beginnings and endings to all our childhood stories. Are they forever gone with the big bad wolf and the monster in the closet?
I choose to think not, but I know it fools gold I hold in my hands. Still I choose to save my powerful words for a powerful moment and then I let them roll of my tongue as if on a breeze.
